Craggy islands float above a dead and diseased planet. Elves and dragons live together on these islands, their last sanctuary after an unknown catastrophe rendered the world unlivable. But the islands are facing a problem that balances on the edge of crisis. The four kingdoms of the higher hemisphere face overpopulation and a lack of resources. General Artacane and her companions fight to protect their borders from pirates and rogue dragons while searching for a way to preserve peace among the kingdoms.
